Designers Play Sustain is a prestigious competition that introduces circular fashion to the Polish and soon international design scene. The competition creates a unique platform where designers can present their innovative solutions to an elite group of experts from business, academia and the media.
Summit Play Sustain is a catalyst for change in the Polish fashion industry, bringing together key stakeholders around a common goal – transformation towards a circular model. The conference, which serves as a platform for dialogue between designers, businesses and representatives of science, presents the practical dimensions of sustainable fashion, pointing to specific opportunities for cooperation and development.

Prof. dr hab. Jolanta Rudzka-Habisiak
artist, professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz
In 1985, she received a diploma from the Studio of Unique Textile at the Władysław Strzemiński State Higher School of Fine Arts (now the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz) and was employed at her alma mater. Since 2005, she led the Studio of Carpet and Tapestry, later transformed into the Studio of Interior Object, Carpet and Tapestry. Since 2022, she has headed the Interior Styling Studio. Curator of exhibitions, juror of many competitions. From 2012-2020, she served two terms as Rector of the Academy. In 2020, she was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of Rebirth of Poland by the President of Poland.
Prof. dr hab. Grzegorz Mazurek
Rector of Kozminski University
He specializes in the topics of digital transformation strategy of organizations, e-commerce and e-marketing. He is also a member of the CRASP International Cooperation Committee, a member of the EFMD Advisory Board for the CEE region, Vice President and a member of the EFMD Board of Trustees. Since 2020, he has served as President of the International Advisory Board of the French university ISC Paris. He is a visiting professor at such centers as: ESCP Europe, SKEMA Business School and École de Management de Normandie (France), ISCTE (Portugal), Nottingham Trent University (UK), Soongsil University (South Korea), Universidad del Pacifico (Peru), University of Reykjavik (Iceland).
He is also the coordinator of the Kozminski MBA Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence program, as well as postgraduate programs related to the digital economy: Internet Marketing - AI and Innovation, e-Commerce: AI and Innovation, Digital Business Transformation and AI, and Industry 4.0 Manager.
Marlena Woolford

Journalist, lecturer and consultant. She has lived in London for over 20 l.
She has worked for international fashion trend forecasting companies: WGSN and Stylus. For 2 l. she was an expert at a company using machine learning and artificial intelligence to create solutions for fashion companies. She has participated as a juror and guest lectured at various universities and events, including: ESMOD in Berlin, IED in Florence, Viamoda, Fashion Philosophy, Fashion Week Poland, Fashion Capital (London), Forest Fashion Week (London), ASP in Lodz and Krakow, Technical University of Lodz. Her articles have appeared in: Newsweek, Dash Magazine, Just4Textiles, Hiro and others. In 2013, she ran a pop-up fashion, design and art boutique in London.
Agnieszka Servaas
President of the Play Sustain Foundation
A visionary of the circular economy (GOZ) who combines business experience with a passion for education and real change.
Entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in building and scaling companies. Co-owner of VIVE Group and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of VIVE Management. In her work, she combines strategic thinking with a practical approach to GOZ. It is thanks to her vision that VIVE Group today operates in more than 80 markets worldwide, implementing innovative solutions in fashion and textile recycling. She is the initiator of the Textile Upcycling trend - an approach that redefines thinking about textile waste. As founder and CEO of the Play Sustain Foundation, she actively supports education, promotes upcycling and builds a circular fashion design community. She is also active in developing leaders and women leaders in responsible business - as a member of the LeaderShe Association and the Pro Bono Leaders Coalition. She believes in value-based leadership, knowledge sharing and real support of others.
Jaroslaw Urban
Vice President of the Management Board of VIVE Textile Recycling
At VIVE Textile Recycling, he has been co-creating and executing the strategy of the Sales Division for years: B2C, ecommerce and B2B. He has experience gained in large international companies in Poland and abroad, as well as in technology start-ups: ABB, Det Norske Veritas, Metsä Group, TopSolution, Variantic. He was responsible for the restructuring process of companies, managing change and turn-around projects, and building effective sales and marketing departments.
